Pearl Jam – Completely Unplugged (Limited Edition Double-LP on Red Vinyl)
This double album showcases Pearl Jam’s stunning live performance for MTV Unplugged, recorded at Kaufman Astoria Studios, in New York, on 16 March 1992.
The band arrived directly from a gruelling European tour to tape the midnight concert. Despite having little time to prepare, the band delivered an intense acoustic set, featuring stripped-back renditions of their most celebrated cuts to date.
Featured, are classics such as State of Love and Trust, Alive, Black, Jeremy, Porch and Even Flow, a wonderful cover of Neil Young’s Rockin’ in the Free World, and more.
This performance is regarded as a defining moment in the early ’90s grunge movement, showcasing the band’s raw energy in an intimate setting.
Four bonus tracks are taken from the band’s performances at the annual Bridge School Benefit charity concerts, held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, in Mountain View, California, from 1996 and 1999.
